|Frequently Asked Questions|
Will this huge event be coming back to PS?
Sadly, no, partly due to the lack of support from the City, and partly due to losing so much money in 2011.
How much does it cost?
$5 includes all admission to all attractions: The Western Design Expo, TwangFest concert series, the Bogert BBQ Showdown on Sat. & Sun., the Old West Mercantile, the Taste of the West, Native American Village and the Fast Draw contest.
Rodeo tickets start at $10 for kids 14 and under, and all rodeo tickets INCLUDE the WestFest admission.
What are the key events not to be missed?
The shopping experience at the Western Design Expo. 20,000 sq. ft of America's top Western designers in fashion, furnishings, jewelry and art.
Plus, it includes dozens of celebrities, actors and speakers from Hollywood's silver screen era, as well as some of your favorite Western authors and publishers. And the Gene Autry FilmFest- three days of America's favorite singing cowboy in the Mojave Theatre, also at the Renaissance.
What is a TwangFest?
On Friday and Saturday, several top cowboy artists will perform on our stage adjacent to the Spa Resort Casino Saloon in the middle of our event grounds. Juni Fisher, the Saddle Cats, Gary Allegretto, Naomi Bristow and the Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers will perform, along with appearances by Michael Tcherkassky and Ken Graydon.
Following the rodeo Friday night and Saturday night- dance to honky tonk heartthrobs Jann Brown Band on Friday and James Intveld on Saturday...all for the same $5 entry fee. The event closes at 10 pm both nights.
